Privacy Policy

Effective November 6, 2026

Dashii is run by It's Going Digital, LLC. This policy explains what information Dashii collects, why, who else handles it and what you can do about it. Dashii does not sell your information or show ads.

What we collect

  • Account details: Your name, email address and password. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody at Dashii can read it.
  • What you add: Your workspaces, bookmarks and the links in them, to-dos, notes, drafts, tags and any notes or due dates you attach. For bookmarks, Dashii also keeps the page's title, description, preview image address and icon address.
  • Images and photos: If you use Dashii Pro, the images you upload or ask Dashii to keep, your Home background photo and workspace cover photos. This includes copies of images you add by link, and of a page's main image when you choose to keep it while saving. Before storing an image, Dashii resizes it and removes hidden details such as the location a photo was taken.
  • Sign-in records: While you are signed in, Dashii keeps a record of each session, including the IP address and browser it came from. These records are deleted when the session ends or expires.
  • Billing details: If you subscribe to Dashii Pro, Dashii keeps your plan, billing period and Stripe customer ID. Your card details go straight to Stripe. Dashii never sees or stores them.
  • Server logs: Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

  • To run Dashii and show you your own content.
  • To bill you for Dashii Pro, if you subscribe.
  • To send emails about your account: confirming your address, resetting your password and approving an email change. Dashii does not send marketing email.
  • To fetch link previews and images you ask for, as described below.
  • To understand how people find Dashii and sign up, using Google Analytics on our public pages only.
  • To keep the service secure, for example by limiting repeated log-in attempts.

Who else handles it

Dashii relies on a few service providers. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job.

  • Railway hosts the app and its database in the United States, and stores the images and photos you add.
  • Stripe processes payments for Dashii Pro. It receives your name, email address, payment details and billing address, and handles them under its own privacy policy.
  • Tally hosts the contact form. It receives whatever you send through it, such as your name, email address and message.
  • Resend delivers account emails. It receives your email address and the content of those emails.
  • Google Analytics measures visits to our public pages: the home page, Help, the legal pages, the sign-in pages and account setup. It receives the address of the page, your browser and device type, and your approximate location, and uses cookies to tell visits apart. It does not run inside your workspaces, so it never sees what you save.

When you save a link, Dashii's server visits that page to read its title, description, preview image and icon. Preview images and icons are then loaded through Dashii's server as well. The websites you save see those requests coming from Dashii's server, not from you, and don't learn your IP address from them. When you add an image by link, or keep a page's image, Dashii's server downloads it once and keeps its own copy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

Dashii uses one cookie to keep you signed in. On our public pages, Google Analytics also sets cookies to count visits; you can block them with your browser's settings or a content blocker, and Dashii keeps working. Dashii does not use advertising cookies, and no analytics run inside your workspaces. Dashii also remembers a few display choices, such as how to sort to-dos or whether focus mode is on, in your browser's own storage. They stay on your device. The contact form on our contact page is provided by Tally, which may set its own cookies when that page loads.

How long we keep it

  • Your content stays until you delete it. Deleted items wait in Trash until you restore them or delete them forever.
  • An image's file is deleted when you delete the image forever. A background or cover photo's file is deleted when you replace or remove it. If you leave Dashii Pro, your images and photos stay, and you can still see them.
  • When you delete your account, your account and everything in it, including your images and photos, are removed right away. Copies in database backups are overwritten within 27 days.

Your choices

  • You can view, edit and delete your content at any time.
  • You can download your data from Settings, under Account. The download includes your content and lists your images, but not the image files themselves yet. To get copies of those, use our contact page.
  • You can delete your account from Settings, under Account.
  • For any other request about your information, use our contact page.

Security

Dashii uses encrypted connections, stores passwords as hashes and checks on every request that you can only reach your own content. Your images and photos are stored privately. Only you can open them, through links that stop working after an hour. No system is perfectly secure, so if you believe your account has been compromised, change your password and contact us.

Children

Dashii is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
